If you're new here — I'm Shan. I've been sewing since I was 15 (that's over 30 years now, which honestly makes me feel both proud and a little old), and these days I make modern quilts and fiber art pieces. For me, piecing fabric together isn't just a craft — it's a way of working through the stuff we all carry from childhood. Every piece is made to be touched, felt, and sat with. If it brings you a little healing too, even better.
